Assessment

No formal assessment is taken for the students of these classes. It is done continuously through their work and activities on daily basis. The classroom assessment is based on the six main development areas in any child. These are:-
1. Social Development
2. Emotional Development
3. Language Development
4. Numeracy Development
5. Cognitive Development
6. Physical Development


Proficient (P) – The student has demonstrated proficiency. Performance and understanding are at grade level.
Efficient (E) – The student is efficient in making progress towards the grade level expectations.
Improving (I) – The student requires extra support and reinforcement to reach the grade level.

The final assessment will be given out of 100 marks for each term. It consists of:
• Pen Paper Test of Mid – Term/Annual ExaminaEon – 50 marks
• Periodic Test 1 (PT-1)/ Periodic Test 2 (PT-2) – 30 marks
• Notebook work Submission – 10 marks
• Subject Enrichment AcEvity – 10 marks

The final assessment will be given out of 100 marks for each term. It consists of:
• Pen Paper Test of Mid – Term/Annual ExaminaEon – 80 marks
• Periodic Test 1 (PT-1)/ Periodic Test 2 (PT-2) – 10 marks
• Notebook work Submission – 5 marks
• Subject Enrichment AcEvity – 5 marks
• The Grand Total will be of 200 marks per subject.

The final assessment will be given out of 100 marks for each term. It consists of:
• Pen Paper Test of Mid – Term/Annual ExaminaEon – 80 marks
• Internal Marks – 20 marks
• Criteria of Internal Marks will be as per CBSE norms for each subject.
• The Grand Total will be of 200 marks per subject.

The final assessment will be given out of 100 marks for each term. It consists of:
FIRST TERM:
• Pen Paper Test of Mid – Term ExaminaCon – 80 marks
• Internal Marks – 20 marks
• Criteria of Internal Marks will be as per CBSE norms for each subject.
SECOND TERM:
• Second Term consists of:
• Pre – Board 1 – 80 Marks
• Pre – Board 2 – 80 Marks
• Board ExaminaCon (by CBSE) – 100 marks

Assessment Policy

  • Attendance during the test days is mandatory.
  • No re-exam will be scheduled whatsoever.
  • Absenteeism during any exam/activity/practical/internal assessment will be marked zero.
  • Students are not permitted to take half day leave on the assessment days.
  • The result of the assessment is communicated to the parents through Report cards after every term.
  • Students indulging in unfair means during any examination will be awarded zero in that subject. There will be no retest for such students. Repetition of the same will result in expulsion. They will not be eligible for any academic award or any prize by the school.
