Step up school celebrated Earth day on 21stApril ,2017. The day began with the special morning assembly where students from grade II to V expressed their thoughts to save the environment which was followed by Hindi and English group recitation. A plantation drive was organized for all the students and staff members to make the students aware about the importance of green revolution. Each child planted a sapling and took a pledge to look after it further, which gave them a sense of responsibility to save mother earth and belongingness to carry out their duties for nurturing the sapling they have planted. Students also enjoyed doing art and craft activities related to the event in their respective classes. It was a fun- filled learning experience where little hands came together to paint their Mother Earth green!
