We at “Step Up School” work collaboratively with the parents for the attainment of our goal of providing an opportunity to our young learners to spread their wings and sour high to smell the rain and feel the wind. Primary education forms the bedrock of development. It is in primary classes that children learn foundational skills that prepare them for life, work and active citizenship. Our aim is to foster the child in all dimensions of his or her life- moral, spiritual, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, esthetic, social and physical. In Primary classes we firmly believe in giving experiential learning through varied experiments and hands on activities.
Apart from main subjects Step Up School also offers various co-scholastic subjects like Brain Teaser, Happiness class, Public speaking class, Calligraphy, Reading sessions, Genius lab sessions, Olympiad Training, Sculpture, Art and Craft, dance, music, Skating/football/cricket classes etc. as vital part of their timetable. These sessions not only make learning joyful for the students but also help children learn more meaningfully as they progress to higher classes, and equip them with 21st Century skills like critical thinking and problem solving which are imperative to succeed in the long run.

When a child learns a new concept by doing, touching, exploring or experiencing something, rather than just being told about it—that child is creating pathways in the brain for further knowledge. Pre-primary education provides toddlers with a fun environment that instills in them an eagerness to learn. This inspires the child to become a lifelong learner.
During the first five years of life, a child experiences the most rapid changes in his/her physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Keeping in mind these changes, our curriculum is designed to cater to the needs of our little ones. Preprimary classes are just not about ABCs, 123s and colours, they are the foundation of developing critical thinking, problem solving and learning how to collaborate. It is just not play, it is purposeful play.
We innovate methods to make learning fun, challenging and purposeful, and stress not only on the academic development but also personal development. Other than academics, in Pre primary wing, we focus on the development of certain skills in our little ones to make them an all-rounder. Students are indulged in different activities like, Gross Motor, Sports, Public speaking, Etiquettes, and Pre-reading etc. to develop these skills.
